Add Dibsline to Claude

Dibsline is a custom connector (a remote MCP server). You add it to Claude by its address, sign in with an emailed code, and ask in plain English.

Checked on 31 Oct 2026 against Claude's own help page, Getting started with custom connectors using remote MCP. The plans and steps below are that page's words; if the page has changed since, the page is right and this guide is behind. Dibsline is not affiliated with Anthropic.

Who can add it

  • Custom connectors are "available on Claude, Cowork, and Claude Desktop for users on Free, Pro, Max, Ultra, Team, and Enterprise plans."
  • "Free users are limited to one custom connector."
  • On Team plans, "only Owners and Primary Owners can add them"; on Enterprise plans, people with "a custom role that includes Manage access to Libraries". After an owner adds a connector, members "individually connect to and enable that connector".
  • Countries: the page does not say.
  • Set it up on claude.ai; connectors then work across clients, including "the mobile apps".

The addresses to enter

Dibsline Permits

https://mcp.dibsline.com/permits/mcp

Dibsline Carriers

https://mcp.dibsline.com/carriers/mcp

Each is its own connector. Add the one you need, or both; one sign-in works for both.

The steps, for Pro and Max

  1. Open Customize, then Connectors. (Team and Enterprise owners start at Organization settings, then Connectors.)
  2. Click "+ Add", then "Add custom connector".
  3. Enter a name: "the name users see in the connectors list", for example Dibsline Permits.
  4. Enter the remote MCP server URL (one of the two addresses above) and click "Continue".
  5. Review the detected authentication settings and click "Continue".
  6. Under Authentication, choose "Sign in now", "Sign in when needed" or "No sign in". Dibsline needs a sign-in, so choose one of the first two.
  7. Under OAuth client, keep "Use Claude's published identity (Recommended)".
  8. Under Request headers, add nothing: Dibsline uses OAuth, not fixed credentials.
  9. Click "Add".

To use it in a chat, click the "+" button, then "Connectors". The sign-in: Claude opens Dibsline's page, where you type your email address, then the 6-digit code Dibsline emails you, and allow access. Claude never sees a password, because there is none. Then ask, for example, "Any new pool permits in Austin this week?"
