Terms of use

The agreement between Darth Panda and the business that uses Dibsline, in plain English.

Last updated 17 Oct 2026

1. Who we are

Dibsline is a product of Darth Panda ("we" or "us"). These terms are the agreement between us and the business that uses Dibsline ("you"). By signing in to Dibsline or starting a plan, you agree to them.

2. Business use only

Dibsline is sold to businesses for business use. You confirm that you use it for a business and that you may agree to these terms for that business.

3. What Dibsline does

Dibsline collects public records every day from city open-data sites and from the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), cleans them, adds trade tags and makes them available through connectors in AI assistants such as Claude. It keeps about the last 30 days of records. Dibsline is not affiliated with FMCSA, the US Department of Transportation or any city.

4. Your account

An account belongs to one email address, and you sign in with a code we email to it. Keep that mailbox secure: you are responsible for what happens on your account. One account is for one business; do not share it with another business.

5. Plans, trials and billing

  • Free plan: 10 results a week on one connector, the first one you use. Counts are free.
  • Paid plans: the plans and prices on the Pricing page, in US dollars. You pay in advance, monthly or yearly, through Stripe. A paid plan renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel.
  • Free trial: each account may have one 14-day free trial. Stripe takes your card when you start it. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the plan starts and your card is charged on day 15, then at the start of each period.
  • One paid plan per account. With a paid plan, your other connector keeps the Free plan's 10 results a week.
  • Price changes: we email you at least 30 days before a new price applies to your plan, so you can cancel before it does.
  • Taxes: prices do not include any taxes that apply to you.

6. Cancelling and refunds

You can cancel online at any time from your billing link. Cancelling stops the next renewal; your plan keeps working to the end of the period you paid for. Our Refunds and cancellations page is part of these terms and says when you get money back.

7. Using the data

The records come from public sources and are provided as they are. Sources publish late, change records and make mistakes, so check the source link before you rely on a record. Each result shows its source and when the source published it, and some sources ask us to show a notice with their data: those notices are part of these terms.

You may use results for your own business: finding work, quoting, research and contacting the businesses in them. You may not:

  • resell, publish or give away the data in bulk, or use it to build a competing list or database;
  • scrape Dibsline, share your sign-in, or use automated tools to pull more than normal use needs;
  • use it to harass anyone, or for anything unlawful.

When you contact people, you must follow the laws that apply to you, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, the Do Not Call rules, CAN-SPAM and state telemarketing laws.

8. Fair use

We may limit or suspend an account that breaks these terms or puts the service at risk. Where we can, we tell you why first and give you a chance to fix it.

9. Availability and changes

We collect every day, but sources go offline or stop publishing, and Dibsline itself may be down at times. We do not promise any level of uptime. We may add, change or remove features and sources; if a change takes away something your paid plan includes, we will tell you and you may cancel with a refund of the unused part of your period.

10. Liability

As far as the law allows, Dibsline is provided without warranties, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits, work or business. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing in these terms removes rights that the law says cannot be removed, including guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law.

11. Ending this agreement

You can stop using Dibsline at any time. We can end this agreement by email with 30 days' notice, or at once if you seriously break these terms. If we close Dibsline, we refund the unused part of any period you have paid for.

12. Changes to these terms

We will post any update here with a new date. For changes that matter to you, we email you at least 30 days before they apply.

13. Law

These terms are governed by the law of New South Wales, Australia, and its courts can hear any dispute about them.
